SURFACE PREPARATION<\/strong><\/span>
\nNEW AND UNPAINTED<\/span><\/em>: Ensure that surfaces are dry and cleaned free of all dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax, form oils, parting compounds, fungal and algal growths, and other debris and contaminants.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

MASONRY<\/span><\/em>: Ensure that the surfaces have thoroughly dried out, allowing cement-rendered surfaces and cementmortar pointing to cure for 4 weeks, and poured concrete for 8 weeks. Fill any surface defects (holes, cracks, crevices etc.) with an appropriate masonry filler. Rub down with rubbing stone\/brick to remove all loose particles.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

CHIPBOARD<\/em><\/span>: Most unprimed\/unsealed chipboards, except maybe for single layer, open-surface chipboards, can be directly primed with Penta Emulsion Primer White. Single layer, open surface chipboards may require sanding and overall filling with oil or water-based fillers if a high standard of finish is required, but the surface must be primed first with an oil-based primer such as Penta Wood Primer Undercoat.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
