SURFACE PREPARATION<\/strong><\/span>
\nCONCRETE<\/em><\/span> – Surface to be painted must be clean and free from all dust, dirt, grease and any contamination. Scrape and sand loose and flaking paint and feather edges to a uniform profile, New concrete must be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before priming. If painting uncured concrete, use Berger Alkali Sealer 2 weeks after plastering. Clean the surface to remove mould or fungus and treat with Berger Biocidal Solution. Thoroughly wash off the Berger Biocidal Solution, allow to dry, then re-apply Berger Biocidal Solution, don\u2019t wash off before applying Berger Grip & Seal. Treat chalky surfaces with Berger Alkali Sealer or Berger Penetrating Liquid after removing most of the chalking material on the substrate. Allow the surface to dry before applying Berger Grip & Seal<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
