Patios are outdoor escapes built onto our homes. They’re perfect for when we need to take a break and take a breath!

Is there inspiration that can be taken from a nearby garden? To achieve a warm and creative space consider shades from the orange family, such as Berger Maize, Sissons Corn or Penta Cream. For a patio surrounded by foliage, colours such as Berger Yellow Buff and others within the yellow family such as  Penta Morning Sun or Sissons Cameo Cream can be used to create analogous schemes where the combination of colours are subtle.

While most patios are covered some face the harshness of the sun rays and should be painted in light fast colours such as Berger 9523 Cream Drop or Sissons Sand Pebble. These tend to be muted or neutral colours that you can marry with any other colour.
