One short month before the most joyous and festive time of the year, that’s right Christmas is here again!
As we approach the season let’s explore some of the endless possibilities of festive colours. We’re going to start nice and simple, because what says Christmas more than snow. I know we don’t all get to experience the cool icy crystals that float from the sky during the winter season, however that shouldn’t deter our spirits.
Here are some schemes for this season:
Whites and Metallics
Though the traditional white is most indicative of Snow, there are other options that bring more elegance to a setting. With an added embellishment of your favourite Silver or Gold decorations, these whites can set a cool tone to your home.
Blues and Whites
Accent walls create focal points in any room to bring a theme together. Blue may not be everyone’s favourite colour, but rich navies paired with metallics can balance a room. Any of the following blues can be combined with the whites from our previous scheme.
Whites and Off-Whites
A neutral cream shade can provide just the right amount of warmth to turn your room into a cozy haven! These calming creams along with the traditional white can do just that.
Bold Fuchsia and Natural Green
Elegance is nice but who doesn’t love a pop of colour. Christmas colours, traditionally hailed from the beautiful Poinsettia, with its rich red petals cushioned on its bold green leaves. Though accent walls are usually paired with neutral companions, these two colours can be arranged on opposite sides of the same room to confidently complement each other.
