A superb adhesive low sheen paint for great coverage. Specially formulated to provide protection against cracking, peeling and chalking whilst offering salt and dirt-resistant properties. Everglow is fungus and algae resistant and is easy to apply by brush, roller or spray. Its superb adhesion, great coverage and easy clean-up in water make Everglow a great product for wood and wall.
SURFACE PREPARATION
New Surfaces – Sand new surfaces to a smooth finish. Use Berger Sanding Sealer prior to application of Berger Wood Primer Undercoat or Berger Grip & Seal. Allow the recommended time for drying. Apply two coats of Berger Everglow Low Sheen Emulsion.
Previously Painted Surfaces – Ensure that dirt, stains, loose material and contaminants etc are removed. If the surface is cracking or peeling, remove the loose material by scraping. Thoroughly dust to ensure a clean surface. Treat any fungal or algal growth with Berger Biocidal Solution. Apply one coat of Berger Wood Primer Undercoat or Berger Sanding Sealer. Allow to dry for the recommended period. Apply two coats of Berger Everglow Low Sheen Emulsion
GYPSUM
Sand to a smooth finish and remove all dust. Apply one coat of Berger Unoshield seal with Berger Gypsum Primer or Berger Alkali Sealer. Allow to dry for the recommended time. Apply two coats of Berger Everglow Low Sheen Emulsion
METAL SURFACES.
Iron & Steel should be thoroughly cleaned to remove all oil, grease, rust, scale and moisture. Prime metal with a suitable Berger Metal Primer, such as Berger Grip & Seal or Berger Zinc Chromate Primer. Apply two coats of Berger Everglow Low Sheen Emulsion Aluminum & Zinc should be degreased and etched with Berger Self Etch Primer. Allow to dry and apply two coats of Berger Everglow Low Sheen Emulsion.
