Magicote Flat Emulsion

Berger Magicote Flat Emulsion Paint is an easy to use interior flat emulsion paint with two in one properties as it can be used as a primer on bare concrete and as a top coat. This product has been specifically formulated with 100% acrylic emulsion with minimum dirt pick up, easy clean and maintains its colour and durability for many years. Berger Magicote Emulsion has excellent mold and fungal resistance. Berger Magicote is made using green raw materials and is environmentally friendly. It is lead free with a very low odour and low VOC.

SURFACE PREPARATION

CONCRETE & CEMENT SURFACES: Should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease wax, loose particles and efflorescence

WOOD: Apply Berger Undercoat wood Primer to a smooth, clean, sound, dirt free surface
For new wood: apply one coat of Berger Grip & Seal Multi-surface sealer & primer or Berger undercoat wood primer, then apply 2 coats of Berger Magicote Flat Emulsion to a properly prepared surface

CONCRETE & CEMENT: Should be free from loose sand, mortar splashes, efflorescence, , all contaminats and dry.
For new wall: apply 1 coat of Berger Contractors primer or Berger ALD Primer or Berger Magicote Flat Emulsion, then apply 2 coats of Berger Magicote Flat Emulsion to a properly prepared surface

PREVIOUSLY OIL-PAINTED AREAS: Clean thoroughly to remove all dirt, grease, etc. Remove all loose and flaking material, rub down with fine grade sandpaper and touch up with the appropriate Berger Primer

PREVIOUSLY LIME-WASHED OR DISTEMPERED SURFACE:Clean, scrape and wire brush thoroughly, then apply one coat of Berger Alkali Sealer

PRIMING:
Iron & Steel: Berger Zinc Chromate Metal Primer, Berger Luxaprime 1400 or any other suitable Berger Metal Primer recommended.
Aluminum & Zinc: Apply a first coat of Berger Self Etch Primer
