Berger Water Base Floor Paint is a specially formulated 100% acrylic floor coating, specifically designed for use on properly prepared interior and exterior floors, porches, patios, and other wood and cementitious surfaces. Its smooth low sheen finish provides excellent weather resistance, hardness and durability which resists fading, peeling and chipping. . It applies easily, is an environmentally friendly fast drying coating with excellent coverage. BERGER WATER BASE FLOOR PAINT is fungus, algai and mildew resistant, and may be applied to well prepared, previously painted surfaces. It offers excellent product versatility and is available in popular standard colours.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Concrete
• Should be swept clean of dirt and loose particles
• Grease should be removed by washing with a diluted soap solution, then wash the surface off thoroughly with clean water
• Smooth concrete should be treated with Berger concrete Etching Solution then wash off with clean water, allow to dry before application of two coats of Berger Water Based floor paint allowing one hour between coats
Wooden Floor
• Should be cleaned of any dirt or loose particles
• Any flaking paint or old polish should be removed
• Floor boards should then be primed with Berger Undercoat Wood Primer, allowed to dry, then coated with two coats of Berger Water Base Floor Paint, allowing one hour between coats
